Sarah Rhys - Artist

Sarah has made a series of digital prints of photographs that she takes of painted road signs. They are large format and are printed on Fine Art watercolour paper, the inks are archive quality. The images are interesting in their semiotic, aesthetic and spatial ambiguity. They are limited editions.

Traces

In parallel to the blackboard paintings Sarah has a small series of digital prints. The images are of detailed areas and are of the “traces” that remain after erasure or in some cases are in the process of being over-painting as in “Trace ll”.
