			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>&#8216;Re-emergence&#8217; , a projection and exhibition  will be  shown at Newton House, Dinefwr, Llandeilo, Wales  from  July 7th to August 31st 2012</p>
<p>There will be two night time projections, one at the beginning and one at the end of the exhibition.</p>
<p>A  room, now semi ruined, was painted with murals of various women during the second world war when Newton House was taken over as a military hospital.</p>
<p>The murals have since been eroded by the elements.</p>
<p>Re-emergence is  a site specific work concerned with Memory and Place.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Newton House, Dinefwr  is owned by The  National Trust .</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I have been selected to take part in The Library of Lost Books project and exhibition .</p>
<p>Old discarded books and music scores with beautiful paper, interesting old bindings, engravings and old photographs and letterpress printed pages are given to the artists who then work into them</p>
<p>creating &#8216;altered books&#8217;. These altered books works will be cataloged and  exhibited together as part of the opening festival for the new Library of Birmingham.</p>
<p>The exhibition will then travel around the U.K</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I have just started a 3 year part time <a title="MA Multi Disciplinary Printmaking" href="http://www.uwe.ac.uk/sca/research/cfpr/courses/maprint.html" target="_blank">MA in Multi Disciplinary Printmaking</a> at The University of the West of England, Bristol, in order to further develop my work, do research and learn new print technologies.</p>
<p>The course description is:</p>
<blockquote><p>Staff at the Centre for Fine Print Research lead the <a href="http://courses.uwe.ac.uk/ww1212">MA Multi-Disciplinary Printmaking</a>; a postgraduate course from the Department of Art and Design, Faculty of Art, Creative Industries and Education (ACE). The MA is run by Senior Research Fellow <a href="http://www.uwe.ac.uk/sca/research/cfpr/staff/sarah_bodman/index.html">Sarah Bodman</a>, with Lecturer<a href="http://www.ichamberlain.co.uk/" target="_blank"> Ian Chamberlain</a> and Research Fellow <a href="http://www.uwe.ac.uk/sca/research/cfpr/staff/tom_sowden/index.html">Tom Sowden</a>. We also have regular contributions from CFPR staff including<a href="http://www.uwe.ac.uk/sca/research/cfpr/staff/paul_laidler/index.html"> Paul Laidler</a>, and visiting lecturers and alumni.</p>
<p>A mutually beneficial relationship exists between research staff at the CFPR and MA Printmaking students, with current student internships including 3D printing, artists&#8217; books, laser cutting and digital print.<br />
Known for its innovative approach to the production of artworks, <a href="http://www.bookarts.uwe.ac.uk/about.htm" target="_blank">artists books</a>, artefacts and texts,<a href="http://www.uwe.ac.uk/sca/courses/maprint.shtml" target="_blank"> MA Multi-Disciplinary Printmaking</a> encourages creative practitioners to develop and explore their ideas through the production of works in multiple formats. The course concentrates on &#8216;making&#8217; and the comprehension of a wide range of processes through a combination of contextual knowledge and understanding. It gives you a unique opportunity to develop a range of creative, conceptual, technical and professional skills.</p></blockquote>
