Sarah is a qualified teacher as well as a practicing artist and has been involved with education since 1994 both in France and Britain. Being both an artist and a teacher, Sarah is in a good position to be able to draw from both worlds and synthesise courses that engage students in new and interesting ways. As well as teaching in various settings from 1994 to 2012,  she has  run freelance workshops in  galleries, museums and schools/colleges.  Sarah has  run workshops for galleries/museums such as The Arnolfini , Bristol ( Drawing workshop 2005 and Installation workshop for Engage conference 2005 ) and The Bristol City Museum (Talk and workshop on The British Art Show 2006).

Sarah worked for 2 years at The Meriton (PRU), in Bristol which provided  education and support for teenage mothers .

More recently (2014/15), Sarah has run workshops for Arts Alive Wales  (now PEAK) which is based in Crickhowell, Powys, including a series of workshops for the project ‘Aerial’ in partnership with Mind Torfaen and Criw Celf for 11-14 year olds.

During autumn/winter  2015 Sarah delivered Caban Celf  workshops to teenagers as well as receiving Caban training sessions. Alongside this she completed the  BAAT  Art Therapy Foundation Course at South Wales University, Newport.
