Sarah is an artist based in Bristol and South Wales who works in various media such as painting, photography, digital and traditional printmaking, artist books and moving image.
Initially studying at City and Guilds of London Art School, Sarah then trained in Architectural Stained Glass (1984-87) at what is now Swansea Metropolitan University.
Her work has since become Fine Art based and having completed her MFA at Bath Spa University in 2004, she has chosen to further her practice and research by studying on the MA Multi- Disciplinary Printmaking Course at The University of the West of England, Bristol.
Much recent work has evolved from an ongoing interest in the Trace, Erasure and Time. This has developed concurrently into work concerned with Memory and Place .
Sarah is a qualified teacher (BA QTS) and has been a part time teacher and lecturer since 2000. She is also a freelance artist/ educator who has run workshops in various educational/gallery contexts, including The Arnolfini and The City of Bristol Museum.
