Sarah will be running a workshop for The Art Factor

The Art Factor – CRIW CELF 2015

The Art Factor provides opportunities for pupils to experience inspirational visual arts workshops. The experimental sessions facilitated by professional artists, are aimed at developing the skills and confidence of pupils and encouraging the take up of arts based qualifications.

Criw Celf offers inspirational workshops for 11-14 year olds, in media such as printmaking, drawing, textiles and sculpture. The project’s Lead Artist, Morag Colquhoun, will introduce participants to a new artist at each workshop, exploring different ideas and approaches to making art. There will also be at least one trip to a national art gallery. This is a fantastic opportunity for young people to take part in something quite special, with experiences to increase their knowledge, confidence and experience in visual art.

Arts Alive Wales is delivering the project in South Powys while  Oriel Davies Gallery, Newtown is delivering in the north.
